Players can register to work on specialized training sessions at high-intensity with Loudoun Elite Volleyball coaches. The specialties are: 1) Setting, 2) Hitting, and 3) Serve, Serve Receive, Defense, and Out-of-System Setting.

Prepare to elevate your game with our Advanced Specialty Training (AST) sessions—designed specifically for elite volleyball players looking to refine their skills and dominate at tryouts. These high-intensity sessions focus on critical areas of play, offering specialized training that pushes you to perform at your best. Limited spots!

1. Setter AST
In the Setter AST sessions, we dive deep into the mechanics and strategies that make setters the maestros of the volleyball court at a fast pace. These sessions cover everything a setter needs to excel—from footwork and hand positioning to decision-making and running a fast offense, including their defense. Expect to fine-tune your precision, improve your court awareness, and develop the leadership qualities that set top setters apart.

2. Serve, Serve Receive, Defense, and Out-of-System Setting AST
Our back row AST sessions are all about mastering the defensive, serve, serve receive and out-of-system setting that all back row players must dominate.  You'll engage in high-repetition drills designed to enhance your consistency and reaction time, ensuring you're always in full control of your body, the court, and the ball. 

3. Hitting AST
The Hitting AST sessions are for players who want to perfect their hitting skills and become unstoppable at the net. Focus areas include approach technique, arm swing mechanics, shot selection, and attacking from different positions on the court. This clinic is designed to increase your power, accuracy, and tactical awareness, making you well-rounded and effective in any offensive situation.

Registration is open. Coed, for 8-12th graders with prior volleyball experience (indoor or beach). Sundays 11 am - 12:30 pm. Drop-ins available. Register here.

In the month of June, 2024, both girls and boys (7th-12th grades) can drop in on Fridays and Sundays (6-7:30 pm). On Fridays, coaches will run skills training, and on Sundays players will get tons of competitive reps at the Play-Time Sundays. More info and registration, click here.
