Also starting the season on Saturday 1/12, our 15U decided to raise the bar at the Frederick Volleyball Club Winter Invitational. Our girls only lost the first set of the day in a thrilling 24x26 for Potomac Elite 15 Black, who would be beaten once again at the tie break set for the first place of the pool. After that first "wake up call" our girls went undefeated the rest of the tournament with a 10-1 record. At the final match, against CVVC 15 Venom, our girls had a slow start, but soon the team showed precise adjustments and an incredible come back for the win. First tournament in the season, first gold medal! Way to start the season, ladies!
