We are committed to providing opportunities for our local youth to learn, play and excel at a level of volleyball play that is both fun and challenging. With this goal in mind, we present our Club League program, based upon the skills, desires and goals of the players. This program provides opportunities for girls from grades 6 through 9 to learn and enjoy the sport of volleyball. There is no previous playing experience required to enjoy the Club League. Our coaches will provide the training necessary for your player to understand the game and learn the basics of volleyball.
This league is broken down into two age groups:
6th/7th grade (12U/13U)
8th/9th grade (14U/15U)
The Loudoun County Volleyball Club League runs for 6 weeks, with a total of 12 days (6 practices and 6 game days). Typically, club league teams are selected based upon a level assessment on the first day of the league (not a tryout). Level assessments provide information to the coaches regarding the skills and needs of the players and allow the coaching staff to select teams that provide the greatest opportunity for each player. Players will be assigned to court 1 or court 2, within their age group. Practices happen on Fridays for 1:30 hour and on Sundays the coaches will organize games (also for the course of 1:30 hour) where the teams of both court 1 and court 2 will play each other. During the course of the program the coaches will look for similar programs that are ran by other clubs and, in case it works out, the league may finish with a one day tournament, TBA.
